Mining Works for Canada (MWFC) is a national public affairs program whose goal is to facilitate the growth and development of the mining industry by enhancing the industry's reputation with key federal decision-makers. It is the primary communications arm of the Mining Association of Canada, but also enjoys broad-based grassroots support from across Canada.

Through a number of different communications opportunities, including speaking engagements, mine tours, newspaper articles and a major annual event, Mining Day on the Hill, MWFC strives to communicate the importance of the Canadian mining industry to Canada's economic prosperity. In this way, the program supports the industry's efforts to promote the development of balanced public policies conducive to the sustainable growth of the mining industry.
